Last week I spent the better part of an hour trying to find the Fox Business channel on my cheap cable so I could watch Jon Cadoux and his brother Mike talk about Peak Organic on America’s Nightly Scoreboard. When I finally found it somewhere in the 100s, of course I had to subscribe to some special package to get it, so that option was out. Eventually, though,I did find the recorded video of the interview online.
The interview was great publicity for the Peak brands, which really deserve every moment of recognition they get, even though it was more business-oriented and less beer-y. Peak Organic brews are fantastic, healthy, and promote THREE great notions:
First, beer is delicious;
Second, ORGANIC beer is even more delicious;
And finally, it is possible to brew delicious beer and support environmental stewardship at the same time.
Such a great concept! Brewing beer while protecting the fields in which its ingredients grow, eliminating pesticides, fertilizers and pretty much any other chemical I don’t want to drink, and supporting the producers who make organic beer possible in the first place… all are wonderful things that make me proud and excited to be able to purchase a Peak in my town.
And I just get a kick out of the packaging. If you weren’t aware, Peak’s name represents the peak experiences in life. To emphasize this they ask their consumers to send in photographs of personal peak experiences along with a short sentence about what it was or what it meant to them. When Peak changes a label on a beer, it chooses a high-rated photograph from the archives, which you can find on their website! So each beer you drink showcases a photograph from a fellow consumer. This one is my favorite. Love it!
