Summer Brews and Summer News

Welcome, summer! The hottest time of the year arrived early, but that’s okay because the best of the craft industry’s summer beer got here just in time to quench those parched palates!

Our summer newsletter, which you can check out here, went out this week to educate our customers, fans and website visitors on summer seasonals from some of our favorite brewing partners.

Included in the newsletter were Kona Wailua Wheat, a golden ale brewed with passion fruit, Peak Organic Summer Session Ale, a blend of wheat and pale ales, Gordon Biersch Sommerbrau, a kolsch beer malted with barley and wheat, and Magic Hat Wacko, a red ale brewed with beet sugar.

In addition to highlighting the return of several seasonals, the newsletter announced the introduction of two more brews from Lazy Magnolia, a brewery based in Kiln, Mississippi! Reb ale and Indian Summer were long-awaited, but well worth it! Keep fingers crossed that Jefferson Stout isn’t far behind.

Have you enjoyed creating new dishes with craft beer? The summer’s seasonal brews brought new recipes when they came to visit the South, all of which are available on this month’s newsletter. Sommerbrau, Summer Session and Blind Faith, Magic Hat’s current IPA on Tour, each lend their flavors to tasty dishes you should try! Peach ice cream, anyone?
