Summer Sipping

When you think of summer beers, what comes to mind? Island lagers, wheat beers, light pale ales… Here are some summery beers that shouldn’t be overlooked this season!

Shocktop is an unfiltered Belgian-style wheat ale. It has a naturally cloudy appearance, golden color and traditional orange peel and coriander taste. Pair it with steamed mussels at the beach! 5.2% ABV

Pyramid Curve Ball is a tasty golden ale available in Pyramid’s Variety Pack this summer along with IPA, Haywire and Apricot! Its bold hop taste is offset by sweet malts, great for session drinking. 5.0% ABV

Landshark is a complex blend of hops for a delicious island lager taste. 4.7% ABV

Kalik is known as the “Beer of the Bahamas” for a reason! It is an award-winning authentic island lager with a big taste. 5.0% ABV

Lazy Magnolia Indian Summer is a light American wheat ale flavored with orange peel and coriander. Enjoy it with your next barbecue! 4.3% ABV

Wailua Wheat is another award-winner from Kona. It is a golden ale with a bright tropical flavor, courtesy of the the passion fruit brewed into every batch. Drink Wailua under the shade of a towering palm or on the dock with a fishing pole in the other hand. 5.4% ABV

Peak Summer Session is a “marriage between a traditional summer wheat beer and a West Coast pale ale.” It is brewed with all organic ingredients from local farmers. Try it with spicy dishes on a breezy patio. 5.0% ABV
