Twy Some Twist

In the last two days I have visited twenty supermarkets in the Leon Farmer & Company territory. The market manager of Talking Rain, the company that produces Twist and Activ Water, came to town to join me on this grocery store adventure. These supermarkets carries Twist, a spring water with a “twist” of flavor, and is putting all six flavors on a discounted price starting Monday… so we wanted to go around to as many stores as possible and make sure they had lots of Twist to sell!

The program is going to sell Twist at 5 bottles for $5 until mid-October, so it’s a great time to try out some of the flavors and find out how much you love it. It’s really healthy, approved by the USDA as an organic product, and also approved by the American Diabetes Association, which is great for diabetics who have a limited selection of beverages to drink. And only 9 calories per serving! Stop by your local supermarket sometime this month and try a few out. Personally I like the Strawberry and Pomegranate Blueberry the best.

It was a long two days to be out of the office with so much going on, especially the new website making its public debut soon, but we accomplished a lot for the Twist brand, and I got to visit new towns I’ve never been to around Northeast Georgia. I also spent a lot of time walking up and down the grocery store aisles, so by the end of the day I had pretty weird cravings for things I’d seen in the stores. I guess that happens when you’re in a grocery store all day!

Talking Rain, in addition to selling Twist, sponsors a lot of athletic events with their Activ Water. Tomorrow is the Tugaloo Triathlon at Tugaloo State Park in Lavonia, Georgia. Activ Water is sponsoring the swimming events, and will also be serving Talking Rain spring water and Twist at the events. It should be a fun morning for participants and spectators alike.
