Is beer distributing an environmentally friendly business?
It can be. As with any other business, beer distributors have the ability to alter their operation to decrease their impact on the environment if they choose to do so.
The use of electricity and lighting as well as vehicles and gasoline make up a big part of how Leon Farmer and Company operates. In the last two years Leon Farmer and Company has been working towards a 5-year plan to reduce our carbon footprint and take steps to become energy self-sufficient in our warehouse. We’ve also worked with the community and sponsored “green” events to promote awareness about the cause.
