Athens' 1st Annual Craft Beer Festival

The Classic City’s own Brewfest has been pouring samples of hundreds of incredible craft brews every spring for many years. Now you can enjoy more seasonal and year-round brews in the fall as well, at the first annual Athens Craft Beer Festival! Organized by Trappeze Pub and Hotel Indigo-Athens, the ACBF is a way to support and promote local, independent brewers and “celebrate the unique beer scene of Athens, Georgia.”

This year’s fall beer festival will take place on Sunday, October 9 at Hotel Indigo, a contemporary-style hotel in downtown Athens that is dedicated to the environment and local community. Regular tickets are available on the ACBF website. VIP tickets are also available and will provide admission to an exclusive “Brewmaster’s Reception” on Saturday night, October 8. At the Brewmaster’s Reception, guests will have the opportunity to meet brewers from several Southeastern breweries (including Leslie Henderson from Lazy Magnolia!) and ask questions. VIPs will also have access to a special tent and a private selection of rare beers at the festival on Sunday.

And have a pen handy to jot down the names of breweries that catch your tastebuds. Southern Tier Brewing Company and Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company will be in attendance with many favorite brews!
