Athfest 2009

Athfest starts today, marking the thirteenth anniversary of the event in downtown Athens, Georgia. With more than 150 bands participating in bars, restaurants and outdoor stages as well as local arts and craft vendors selling their creations on the streets, Athfest provides a great economic boost to the community each June and educates citizens and visitors on local music and arts. It is also a non-profit event that is entirely put on by volunteers and sponsors. This year Callaway Blue Spring Water and Budweiser Select were proud to support this nationally known festival.
