Classic City Brewfest 2009

The Classic City celebrates its 14th Brewfest this year at the Foundry Park Inn and Spa downtown. Sponsored by the Athens Area Humane Society, Redhook Brewing Company, the Foundry, Terrapin Beer Company, the Bulldog 103.7FM and Five Points Bottle Shop, this year’s Brewfest benefits the AAHS, who will be moving to a new location soon to support the growing number of animals they care for and adopt out each year.

Brewfest is a beer-tasting festival put on by Classic City Brew that offers almost 200 unique beers to its visitors. A restricted 750 are available and this year has already been sold out! Taxis are available on-site and no parking will be available at the Foundry. Designated drivers or hotel stays downtown are recommended and encouraged for each and every person who attends this year’s Brewfest.
