Redhook, just after releasing news of Big Ballard IPA, announced that it would also be releasing a new summer seasonal in April – a 5.3% ABV “Rope Swing” Pilsner. Redhook describes Rope Swing as having a maltiness offset by a medium dose of hops and finished with a clean, bright, thirst-quenching quality.
As with most seasonals, this beer will be released two months before the season it represents officially starts. This brew will round out Redhook’s seasonal rotation:
Mudslinger: January – April
Rope Swing: April – July
Late Harvest: July – October
Winterhook: October – January
