Redhook's Treblehook Barleywine Returns!

Redhook Brewery out of Portsmouth, NH is bringing back its Treblehook Barleywine Ale in October! It will only be available in very limited establishments, since only 2,500 cases have been brewed for the entire country.

Treblehook took the Gold Medal in the Barley Wine category at last year’s Great American Beer Festival, and this year it took Silver. The last bottled batch was released in early 2008. This year’s version features a flurry of hops: Chinook, Cascade, Simcoe, Amarillo, Centennial. The ABV has also risen from 9.8 to hit 10.1%, easily making this one of Redhook’s biggest beers to date.
