Southern Tier Expands Distribution

We at Leon Farmer and Company would like to congratulate Southern Tier Brewing Company on its expansion into Missouri this month. Now available in half the United States as well as a sampling of other countries around the world, Southern Tier delivers a “strong selection of 30 beers, including IPA, Phin & Matt’s, 2XIPA and Pale Ale.” The currently available seasonals include Choklat and Old Man Winter.

With this new distribution outlet, Southern Tier is also beginning an expansion to their nearly new brewery to accommodate the demand. In the first phase of their project, a 7,500 square foot conditioning room will be added to compliment the existing one. A state-of-the-art high-speed bottle line will be installed in early 2011 with additional modifications and upgrades to the brewhouse.
