Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company: Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan

Southern Pecan is a nut brown ale, and one of the only beers in the world brewed with whole roasted pecans. They are used just like grain to brew this delicious beer, which is lightly hopped to allow the nutty caramel flavors to come through.

It is the flagship beer of Lazy Magnolia, the brainchild of co-owner Mark Henderson. Nut beers are hard to produce because of the high oil content, but Mark’s wife Leslie, headbrewer and also co-owner of Lazy Magnolia, discovered the ideal combination of malts to combat the issue and Southern Pecan was born!
